1. The rolls are machined from high-grade tool steel, which has been treated to a hardness of over 60 Rockwell C, and hard-chromed, precision ground as well as polished to a mirror surface.
2. Total Nip-Gap adjustment is from 0.2 to 10 mm
3. Optionally the rolls can be equipped with oil heating and cooling system alternatively with electric heated and water-cooled rolls. With this option, the mill can also be used for thermoplastics.
4. Individual Infinite Variable Speed drive of each roll using two AC Frequency Inverters and two 2.2 kW AC motors.
5. Two temperature controllers which will regulate the On/Off function of the cooling water supply and with this also the temperature of the rolls.
